I’d rather not talk about Kevin

Red, red everywhere and scrub, scrub, scrub as she might,  Eva will never be clean again.

The film We Need to Talk About Kevin is disturbing and thought-provoking, yet also beautifully shot and symbolic. If you haven’t seen it yet, I suggest you give it a try. I don’t really want to talk about it, just want to show you how it made me feel (each of these frames kind of sum it up):

If you’ve seen it, let me know what you though 🙂

  1. I thought it was rather frightening and definitely thought provoking. The movie really forces the viewers to make up their own minds about the horrible crime and the various characters. I felt like an outsider to the story trying to peer into their lives, rather than fly on the wall who has the scoop on what exactly is going on. The internal dialogue and subtext is not obvious, which makes it hard to decipher what the characters are really thinking. The cinematography is excellent. Like your collage of frames.

    1. Thanks Ney 🙂 Haha always helps to watch movies with smart siblings 🙂 I think the book is probably really good too, but I don’t know if it would have captured the RED so well.
